About us
Steven Warden, Founder
My passion for health and performance started early, shaped by years of competitive ice hockey and soccer in my hometown of Lakewood, NY. Sports not only fueled my competitive spirit but also sparked my fascination with the human body and its incredible potential. This curiosity led me to the decision of pursuing a career in Sports Medicine. In 2012, I began my academic journey at Baldwin Wallace University, where I balanced the demands of being a student-athlete with earning a dual degree in Physical Therapy and Exercise Science.

During my time at Baldwin Wallace, I gained invaluable hands-on experience through internships both at the Cleveland Clinic Sports Medicine Institute and T3 Performance. Throughout these internships I worked with collegiate and professional athletes to optimize their performance, recovery, and injury prevention ultimately fueling my passion for the preventative side of medicine. In addition, it was at BWU that I took my first two nutrition courses, sparking an interest in a field I found to be heavily underutilized.
After graduating in 2016, I returned to Buffalo, NY to join STA Sports Performance as a full-time strength and performance coach, where I worked with athletes and the general population to design and tailor personalized programs for the achievement of fitness goals. In 2017, I returned to school to further pursue my passion for preventative health and began studying Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition with a concentration in media outreach and marketing at Buffalo State University. Later, I was 1 of only 16 students accepted into the competitive Coordinated Dietitian Education Program at Buffalo State, where I balanced a rigorous course load, while also completing over 1,250 hours of supervised professional practice. This experience required a high level of organization and commitment as I juggled coaching at STA, academic responsibilities, and clinical rotations across diverse settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, foodservice management, and community nutrition programs. A highlight of my training came during my final semester with a sports nutrition specific internship obtained with the University of Oregon, where I had the opportunity to further my knowledge on fueling elite level athletes.
I graduated in May 2020 and passed the national board exam through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), successfully earning my credential as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
In August 2020, I joined The Chautauqua Center, a multi-faceted outpatient medical facility, as its first Nutrition Coordinator and Registered Dietitian. With no existing nutrition department prior to my hiring, I built the program from the ground up, establishing comprehensive services across six office locations. Under my leadership, the department grew significantly in caseloads year over year providing an important new aspect of health for the community. My role involved not only delivering medical nutrition therapy but also leading strategic planning, department development, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team to support patients managing chronic diseases and other health concerns.
In June of 2024, I relocated to Fort Lauderdale, FL, expanding my career through remote consulting work before the launch of my private practice, EternaVita Nutrition. This endeavor reflects my mission to help clients break free from diet culture and embrace intuitive eating, functional movement, and mindfulness. EternaVita is dedicated to staying at the forefront of research, separating myth from fact, and providing clients with a safe and effective pathway to achieve their health goals. With an exciting vision for the future, we plan to expand our wellness services and establish interdisciplinary partnerships, further positioning EternaVita as a pivotal leader in holistic wellness solutions.
My approach is rooted in evidence-based strategies, personalized guidance, and fostering a supportive environment where progress—not perfection—is the goal. I specialize in preventative medicine, sports nutrition, and chronic disease management, tailoring solutions to meet each client’s unique needs and lifestyle. Whether working with athletes, executives, families, or individuals managing chronic conditions, I strive to empower my clients to take control of their health and unlock their full potential.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy staying active, exploring innovative training methods, and engaging with my community to promote health and wellness education. My journey has taught me that health is about proper balance, and I am dedicated to helping others discover their healthiest, most fulfilling lives.
